The University Academy for Boys and Girls at North End has undergone big changes. Grades K-4 are separated by gender, while the fifth and sixth grades are still co-ed. Students in grades K-4 look great in their uniforms!
On a daily basis, the ELL teachers work directly with ELL students in their homerooms, co-teaching reading or writing with the regular classroom teachers. Ms. De Avila works with the second grade boys and girls classes, as well as the co-ed classes in grades five and six. Ms. Musgrave works with the boys and girls classrooms in 3rd and 4th grade, and Ms. Kloster works with boys and girls in the kindergarten and 1st grade classrooms.
There are many wonderful things happening at our school. We all encourage students to set their sights on college! The ELL teachers help make our "university" a better place where all students can be successful.
